What is in your mind and what are you thinking ?

I am thinking about life from spiritual point of view. I am trying to understand that on one side is God and on other side is the practical world . God is your own true self , God is inside you . At the same time , I am writing truth that I do respect the theories given by Charles Darwin which are related to ” survival of the fittest ” . The fit person lives and weak dies . Then sometimes , when I am alone ; I try to think who is good ” socialist ‘” or ” capitalist ” . When I sit alone in my life all these words ; God , Human Emotions , Socialist , Capitalist , Charles Darwin , Survival of the fittest ; they sorround me by unknown and unexplained ways . There is a question ; when you know that weak needs more attention then why still you associate with the strong . Answer this question ; ” It’s good to associate with the strong ” . I am telling you hundred percent truth ; in my personal life , I never try to associate with the strong in the beginning. I always remain in less energetic and simple profile . But when it comes to my personal life and survival; I change . That mean ,I want to live on this earth , I like life ; may be I love life . My goal in life is to be simple , peaceful and I try my level best to remain in a less energetic profile . Winning and loosing , happy and unhappy ; may be everything is relative .

Question for the Cardiologist ? Measurement and Readings .

I very well understand that , the manual measurement of blood pressure is the best . But I have a very good quality wrist blood pressure monitor of OMRON . Today I was sitting on my bed , with folded legs and I tried to measure my blood pressure through wrist blood pressure monitor and taking laptop table as the base for keeping my elbow . The readings were 126/76 and HR was 89 . Now I changed the place and sat on a dinning table with the chair . Now keeping the elbow on the dinning table , I found my blood pressure was 118/70 and HR was 84 . To conclude , sitting on bed and measuring blood pressure keeping hands over laptop table was higher , as compared to when I sat on a chair and dinning table . Why there was a variation , when I measured by sitting on chair and dinning table , it was lower . Being from the medical field , I do understand that manual blood pressure monitor is most accurate but still I am trying to understand the reason for the variation between sitting on bed with folded legs and then sitting on Chair and dinning table .

Today through Bluetooth sync , I was able to record 100 % exact weight .

Today , I was able to record 100 percent correct weight through Bluetooth sync of my OMRON Weighing Machine . I wear power glasses . Today while weighing , I did not required the glasses also , just because today I was able to record through Bluetooth; thus weight of the glasses was also excluded . I am happy for this .

Taking steps or walking . Share your experience and hurdles while taking steps or walking .

I like this physical activity . And I am doing research on how to take more steps . I am doing research on motivation and personal concerns related to walking . Let me discuss my personal research . First is weather ; good weather , climate or temperature automatically increases the motivation . Now let me tell you , what’s helping me in walking , especially in hot climate . Cool Ice Water in my sports bottle , which keeps the water cool for 12 hours is helping me the most . I have a very big plan to buy one more borosil sports water bottle , because it is like the biggest motivator for me , when I plan to walk in warm or hot climates . Second is music , good music help me to walk , so I found , if I change the songs or playback music , it acts like a motivator for me to walk . I am happy I have YouTube music premium edition and DFIM apparatus for walking . Third is it’s good to take rest before walking for example if you are tired , then first it’s good to sleep or take rest for one hour before walking . Its my personal research , that taking rest or sleeping for few hours , refreshes a person for taking more steps . I cannot explain this is in detail but it’s something which is kind of limiting factor . Fourth is personal health , in my case I have some sprain in my right knee and right ankle , so when I try to apply some holistic medicine over it , pain goes away , and I further take more steps . Its important to work on personal limitations like I already told that I have right sided knee and ankle sprain , which goes away with applying some holistic medicine , and it helps me to walk more or take more steps . Fifth motivation is a question , why you are walking ? In my case , answer is to have good health , get rid of obesity and get rid of chronic health concerns . So all these things are personal motivators . Believe me , the fifth point is the biggest motivator for me , because being a doctor , I understand all kinds of chronic health concerns have some kind of relation with obesity . Taking steps or walking can burn huge number of calories , if a person goes for brisk walking . And even if talking steps or walking burns less calories , still it improve the body functioning of all kinds of organs and thus a person can get rid of chronic health concerns . I will soon take an appointment with some orthopaedician for discussing my right sided knee and ankle sprain , which happened years ago , when I tried to run with wrong size of shoes in the Nehru stadium . Initially the sprain was in right knee , then it moved through leg and reached the right ankle . Holistic medications also relive my sprain . I think once my sprain will go away , I will be able to go for brisk walking . I think I donot go for brisk walking because of the sprain . Last but not the least , I have undergone some Lab tests and found that Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 levels in my body are too low . I will soon start a nutritional supplement or kind of tablet for Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 .

Today my weight reduced further by one kg , because may be I subtracted the weight of clothes .

Weight with clothes and Weight without clothes ; there is a huge difference . My weighing is 100 percent and most accurate . It measures even the difference of 100 grams and it syncs with Google app through Bluetooth . Next time my plan is to weigh myself , without wearing glasses to subtract the weight of glasses , it will be difficult for me to see the exact number because of not wearing spectacles but then may be because of Bluetooth sync , I can read the exact value . Thanks to the good quality weighing machine of OMRON .

I have reduced my weight by 0.5Kg in one day . This is exact loss ( Subtracting clothes and shoes weight ) .

I am taking pure vegetable soups , made with fresh vegetables , water , pinch of salt and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil .

I have left all kinds of tea and coffee . Even I am not drinking green tea also . Previously , I used to take milk based tea and coffee . To conclude , I have left all kinds of tea , coffee and green tea .

I am sleeping at proper time that’s before 12am . Sleep is God as per Naturopathy . If I am able to complete my residency in Internal Medicine in America , I will also think about doing fellowship in Sleep Medicine . In Naturopathy , water and sleep are God for health . Interest in sleep medicine is not based on how much you earn in your personal life . Its based on respect for something which is so natural and has million health benefits . Good sleep is the universe best medicine for health like drinking water .

At present I am just having vegetable soups made by boiling water , slices of fresh vegetable , fresh tomato puree homemade , pinch of salt and one table spoon of extra virgin oil . One table spoon of extra virgin olive oil is for 1.5 litres of water . In solid foods , I am having fresh sandwiches with salt , spices and oil restrictions. I am also taking homemade Idlis . During intermittent fasting , I am having raw food like cucumbers.

I am happy for my weighing machine , which is giving exact and accurate results even with that I can measure , 0.5 kg change , which happened today .

In Physical Activity , for last two days , I am just taking 6000 steps . Even if physical activity burns very less calories but it has one million health benefits . I will increase the target on Zepp app which is connected to Google fit . I am increasing the target by 1000 . So in future I will complete 7000 steps . For unknown and unexplained reasons , I have lot of respect for physical activity , even if it burns less calories , if a person is not very active .

How was your day in relation to health and fitness? Describe your latest developments?

Today I spent time on healthy cooking . I made soup by boiling water , slices of bottle gourd , slices of tomato , pinch of salt and one table spoon of extra virgin olive oil . Tomorrow, I will go for tooth extraction; after that for may be half a day , I have to take liquid diet . So , the soup will help me . I started concentrating on right values to reach exact goals ; for example making a diary for various health related goals . I think , this a good habit . Indian diet even if vegetarian is kind of keto diet . I am fond of eating curd or yogurt , healthy soups , healthy sandwich , cranberry juice etc . Its more of keto diet . I donot know the side effects of keto diet . I already told and mentioned that I left milk based coffee and black tea . But today , something strange happened , even I did not have the green tea also . I think in the long run , cranberry juice will replace green tea also . This is because , I did not have time to make the green tea . And cranberry juice , you just have to pour into the glass with some Ice cubes . Today I found a apparatus on Google Play ; which is related to Intermittent fasting . That is fine . But it’s my personal viewpoint that , I donot like skipping meals . In that apparatus, it’s mentioned that you try to skip breakfast or you try to skip lunch or you try to skip dinner . I donot like it and even I donot support it , the idea of skipping meals . What I found great is taking small meals but at regular intervals . My idea is you can count the total number of calories per day and subtract the calories burnt by physical activities but donot skip meals , take small meals at regular intervals . I want to discuss my another mistake . In my last few blog posts , I mentioned that physical activity burns less calories ; as compared to fasting or eating less calories . I was wrong and may be not fully educated about this particular thing . Because there could be many types of physical activity; which we can add in our routine ; and which have the power to burn huge amount of calories for example dancing . Even dancing for 30 minutes has the power to burn a large number of calories . So , I was mistaken and quiet unaware about the power of physical activity . Rest I purchased a weighing machine which through Bluetooth sync with an apparatus on Google Play . I am confident that from tomorrow, I will concentrate on my progress in my weight loss journey . I want to know the side effects of Indian keto diet as I regularly take Indian Keto diet which consist of curd or yogurt , vegetable soups , healthy sandwich, cranberry juice , Idlis . I donot know if these things belong to Indian Keto diet . Another thing which I donot understand is how belly fat is different from fats on other parts of body . Some people just work for decreasing belly fat . Now my question is how does decreasing overall body weight is different from exclusively working on belly fat . I wish to know the answer from health point of view . To conclude, I donot understand, how does working for overall body weight is different from just concentrating on decreasing belly fat . I am looking for some kind of scientific answer .

What’s your diet and physical activity plan for tomorrow. ?

In the morning , I will have a sandwich and green tea with zero calorie sweetner . May be I will also have 1 or 2 Idlis .

Then at 2 pm ( afternoon , I will have two vegetable sandwiches . )

At 4:30 pm , will have pulses vegetable soup with some Idlis and cranberry juice .

At 6 pm ; I have an appointment with the dentist .

Between 8:00 pm to 9 pm ; I will take 6000 steps , listening to music at the same time .

At 10 pm , I will have pure tomato soup .

Then I will sleep .

What’s your realisation today in your weight loss journey ?

Cucumbers are helping . I need advice . Is there any other vegetable , like cucumber, which I can eat raw . Fresh green vegetables are helping me the most . Whenever I feel Hungary ; first I try to eat some green fresh vegetable like cucumber. Today I ate around 6 to 8 cucumbers. In future , I will also find some other fresh vegetables, which I can eat raw . Bottle gourd is excellent for mixing with pulses to make a pulses vegetable soup . To conclude what I feel is that , my answer for weight loss lies in concentrating on fresh vegetables with salt , spices , sugar and oil restrictions. Pulses give strength to fast for a longer duration . Something sweet in between like cranberry juice , fruit or biscuit ; help the mood . In summers , sixty percent of hunger is thirst . Still we lack motivation for drinking water ; put ice or start with some juice ; act like a motivation for drinking water . One of the most important aspect in weight loss journey is motivation. Water is God for health , as per Naturopathy. I want to write my personal experience which is related to motivation for drinking water ; first I try to fill my glass or cup with some Ice cubes , then I put some cranberry juice , may be just around 70 ml . This act like a motivation for drinking . Once I finish 70 ml of cold cranberry juice , I try to take 5 to 6 glasses of water with the left Ice Cubes . Hope I am able to explain that Ice cubes and just 70 ml of cranberry juice act like a motivator ; further taking 5 to 6 glasses of water with left Ice cubes acts like a detox for whole body. There are two types of motivation on earth ; one is when you feel good about something and second is like a punishment or kind of fear of rejection or fear of death . For example ; you are drinking water because initially you want to taste the cold cranberry juice ; so ice and cranberry juice acts like a motivator for you . Now let say , your doctor advises you for getting rid of diseases ; then its looks like an order for good health , which is kind of motivator . To conclude , motivation and motivators ; sometimes are very important for things to happens ; so try to find your own motivators for things to happen ; why things are not happening ; it’s just because you lack motivation.
