Discuss the word ” Individual” and ” Stress ” in relation to your own context .

” Individual ” is one of my favorite word . That means , I am different from you and others . I am different from you because , I am born in a different culture , I studied in a different school , my experiences are quiet different from you , my weakness and strength are quiet different from you . I am entirely a different person , in comparison to you and others . I respect my weakness and strength both . I respect my limitations also . I am proud of who I am , may be which is not important for you . I respect the word ” Individual ” . Now the word ” Individual ” is quiet different ” tailored ” or ” customised ” . The word ” tailored ” or ” customised ” is related to business or management, which is related to the word ” Individual” but it’s not my favorite word . Then is the word ” stress ” . My stress levels are quiet different from you . On the whole , what I really want to project is that , we should respect an ” Individual” who is quiet different from others and his or her stress levels are also quiet different .

How will you improve in your weight loss journey ? Discuss your action plan ?

I will decrease carbohydrates in my diet . I will eat more fibres and salads . I will decrease the amount of sugar in my diet . I will go for a longer fast by taking more plant proteins and doing meditation . I will start meditation which decreases the stress levels and helps a person to fast for a longer time . At present , I am just walking or taking 10,000 steps but sooner I will also include yoga and other exercises in my routine . To summarise my action plan ; I will take less carbohydrates and sugar , then I will take more plant proteins and salads or green vegetables ; then I will meditate to decrease stress levels , which will also help me to fast for a longer time . Salads and green vegetables are zero calorie food , I will try to give more respect to them . I will neglect extra carbohydrates and extra sugar . Something related to plant proteins and probiotics like yogurt for example vegetarian pancake or chilla is quiet healthy . I will soon discuss few things with the dietician . I wish to discuss few or many things with a dietician who has a very good knowledge of calories in Indian food . As a person , I am very careful about accuracy of blood pressure monitors and weighing machines but I think , as a person , I am not serious about measurement and calories in food I eat . In my future , after meeting a dietician who is expert in calories , I wish to make a rough weekly or monthly food chart . To conclude , I am not serious about calories in my diet .

What’s problems you are facing in your weight loss journey ? Discuss in detail ?

Lack of proper education is my biggest problem . Let me explain this . I donot have a good mentor , who is guiding me . I lack a teacher or an expert , who can guide me with various things . Let me explain everything in detail . I take a small meal . But I am not connected to any good dietician , who can calculate the exact calories , I am taking in that meal . Small meal is a relative term , what looks small to me , is not small , as per the dietician . I try to fast for 3 to 6 hours between the two meals . There are people , who fast for 12 hours to 16 hours also . My interval may be small because , I cannot fast for more than 6 hours . Then the most important is Carbohydrates . I want to read about this topic . I am not very serious about carbohydrates. Its my mistake . I do some binge eating also like yesterday I ate two biscuits also . Binge eating is not good .

Discuss blood pressure measurement? Write your personal experience and opinion .

I have both Omron Arm blood pressure monitor and Omron wrist blood pressure monitor . First and most important is to follow the right method , what’s mentioned on the leaflet , that comes with Product . My last blood pressure recorded through arm blood pressure monitor was 117/75 mm Hg and my heart rate was 76 . I measured it today only . Both arm and wrist monitors are extraordinary accurate , if right method is followed , that’s mentioned on the leaflet . Omron blood pressure monitors are more accurate than manual monitors ; it’s my personal experience . Somewhere , my heart says that OMRON blood pressure monitor is more accurate than what’s measured through a manual monitor . Wrist monitors are more comfortable but I think , Arm monitors are more accurate . If one has to go for comfort , travel and accuracy, then wrist monitors are good . But if somebody wants to go for more accuracy ; arm monitors are the best . The only thing , which needs attention is , one should use the right method , that’s what mentioned on the leaflet .

How is your diet ? Discuss your findings and concerns .

I have left extra salt , but I crave for it sometimes . Plant proteins are helping me in weight loss . I have became a fan of plant proteins . The food which is helping me the most in weight loss journey is Plant Proteins . I have permanently left milk based black tea and coffee . Even I have also left the green tea . The substitute I am taking for tea and coffee is little bit diluted milk boiled with green cardamom and fennel seeds . I am maintaining a fast of 3 to 6 hours between two meals . In between , if I feel Hungary , I try to take fibre diet like cucumber etc . I have developed a great respect for fasting between two meals . My research findings are , make things interesting by changing the ratio proportions in such a way that , things which are good for health in dominate and others which are good in taste , are also there but in small amounts . To conclude , things which are tasty but not good for health , should be added in smaller amount to increase motivation and maintain interest but the bulk or the major portion should be of something which healthy even if not tasty . I have cut down on salt , oil , sugar and carbohydrates . Carbohydrates are tasty , I add them in my diet but in a lesser amount . Extra oil , Extra salt , Extra sugar even extra spices are not good for health . Sometimes I crave for extra salt but lately I found good alternatives to it like a maggi magic masala or fresh homemade grinded dip of tomato , onion , corriander and lemon . In near future , taking less salt will become my habit ; but still for unknown and explained reasons ; I crave for some salt and spices . I have developed interest in fresh and natural spices , given by God to human beings . I have left most of the dried spices except I use a sachet of maggi magic masala . I have become a fan of God given Natural and Fresh spices like Tomato , Onion , Corriander , Garlic , Lemon . I avoid ginger , as it causes gastritis to me . The problem I am facing is , whatever I like is time consuming, which needs human labor . The only and the biggest problem, I am facing in my diet plan , is it’s time consuming and demand human labor .

In what type of environment , your work  performance increases by 50 percent ?

Spacious , less congested and highly ventilated.  In my subconscious mind , I like places which are spacious , less congested and properly ventilated . This is my subconscious liking , which may have some genetic basis , related to my ancestors ( 100 years ago )  , who people use to live near water and had interest in Agriculture and Clothes . Three things living near water , Agriculture and Clothes ; have some genetic connection with my subconscious likings . Like people all over the world read stories related to Romeo Juliet ; in a very similar way , there was a pair by the name Heer Ranjha in Indian subcontinent before 1947 . I think the guy Ranjha also used to live at the same place near the water , had interest in Agriculture and Clothes . When I started reading the Wikipedia about my ancestors , I found , it’s written they were ” Very tall ” and ” Very Strong ” . I don’t know what happened to the new generation,  which is becoming weaker every day and shorter in height also . Is there any book or author or scientist who can correlate our behavior or nature with our ancestors , who were born 100 to 200 years ago . I have interest in this subject that most of my likings at present have some connection with my ancestors , who were born 200 years ago ; how they use to live , like they used to live near water , were  good with Agriculture and Clothes, were very tall and strong , the most romantic couple like Romeo Juliet , used to belong that place in Indian Subcontinent . May be the newer generation is becoming weak and shorter in height , but at the genetic level ; our behavior and our likings have still some connection with our Ancestors , born 200 years ago .

What fascinates you in medical field ?

Chronic diseases and recovery from chronic diseases. Recovery from chronic diseases through lifestyle modification fascinates me . One can say , I am a very big fan of lifestyle medicine . Another thing , which fascinates me is ” Integrative Approaches in treatment of diseases ” . Last but not the least , ” behavioral change or kind of some aspects of psychiatry for disease management looks great to me . To conclude , lifestyle modification , Integrative approaches and behavioral change in the management of Chronic diseases is what fascinates me . My favorite diseases are related to sedentary lifestyle . My fellowship interests are ” Integrative medicine ” and ” Sleep medicine ” .
